You're nearly there with that. You want to output a string as set in the question: "First name:"
. After the text, put a placeholder. As we're inserting your firstName
string, use %s
, inside the "" of the string. Then, after the "First name:"
string but within the brackets of the printf
add a comma, then the variable name firstName
. That inserts the contents of fisrtName
into the string you created.
it all looks like:
console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);
