using super() function to override methods

i am not sure what i am doing wrong here, trying to access the previous list from the list class into this subclass and then add 2 to the length of the list

frustration.py 
class Liar(list):
    def __len__(self, list, *args, **kwargs):
        super().__len__()
        return len(self.list) + 2

Hey Tom Williams, you are very close!

  • The __len__ method only needs the self parameter.
  • The results from the super call aren’t used. You could simply return that result, + 2
