39,199 PointsFirefox or Chromium should work on Linux for HTML and CSS courses.
One thing to note is that whenever a Treehouse course requires software to be installed instructions are for OS X and Windows, keep in mind that only some of the courses require software to be installed.

9,229 PointsHi Alexander - I'm currently using Firefox on Linux (Ubuntu). In general, it works great. However, I'm doing the Rails Track now, and have problems installing Ruby & Rails on Linux. As James Barnett mentions "whenever a Treehouse course requires software to be installed instructions are for OS X and Windows" only. Thusly, Treehouse does not provide Linux-based instructions for Ruby/Rails installations. Until I resolve the installation issue on my Linux box, I'm running Ruby/Rails on a Windows-based laptop. Although I like the mobility of the laptop, it's not an ideal solution. It'll do until I resolve my Linux installation issues.
