Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types list.remove()

Use the.remove() method to remove the last item from the list. My input: states.remove(5) does not work ???

states.remove(5)

lists.py 
states = [ 'ACTIVE', ['red', 'green', 'blue'], 'CANCELLED','FINISHED', 5, ]
states.remove(5)
states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue'])

Your solution seems to work just fine on my end. I do suggest to not touch the original states array just code your solution below what is already there.

Not sure remove method works, but splice() method is one of the most popular method for array manipulation. states.splice(4,1);
