Uploading the images...

  1. I downloaded the image file that he talks about in the video.

  2. I highlighted all the photos in that "img" folder that I downloaded.

  3. I try to drag and drop all of the photos into workspace and it does not work. There is not light grey box that shows up to drop them into.

  4. I went to File->Upload File in the menu bar in workspace. I clicked Upload File and nothing happens. It does not even take me anywhere to choose a file.

  5. I tried logging out and back in, then re-downloading the file... Still nothing.

Anyone have an answer for me?

At first it wasn't working for me as well, however, I did have to extract the files from the initial zip download onto my computer, then drag them from the location where I extracted them into the workspace. Once I did that it worked perfectly, hope that helps.

The file you download from the course is a zip file. You need to extract the zip file to your computer and then drag the files from that location to the workspace. Don't try to drag the files from the zip file directly. So copy and paste them from the zip file, to another folder on your computer and drag them from there.

Thank you!!!!

Babacar,

  1. Go to the img folder you downloaded.

  2. Right click on the img folder and hit "copy"

  3. Navigate to another folder you want to paste the images in. Then right click and hit "paste" to paste the img folder into that location.

  4. Then you can highlight and drag the photos from the that new location into the bottom left corner of the black/grey area in workspaces (just like in the video).

Hope this helps.

Babacar,

There is a link at the bottom of the page that says, "download the "img" file here"... Click on that to download the image folder.

Babacar,

You don't have to click anything that is called "upload images". That's just the terminology he uses.

All that you have to do is "drag and drop" the images.... First make sure workspaces is open. Then highlight all of the images in the folder that you downloaded. Then left click (and hold) while you drag your courser to the black/grey area in workspaces then release your finger off the left click button. The images should now be in your workspaces... He shows this procedure in the video. So you may also want to try re-watching that part.

Nick, How to open the workspaces now and I'll be able to get the job done.
