Java Local Development Environments Exploring Your IDE Clean up this mess

Unsure of next step - task 4/5 local development environment

I have restarted several times, and there are several solutions for what should meet the countdown requirements, from creating an array and running through it, to creating an object that does the same. I don't know the desired end goal, and have been doing Javascript training for days (which is messing me up).

Any help / guidance is appreciated.

Hi Greg,

Inside the for loop, use the sout IDE shortcut, or System.out.println() to output the value held in numberWord. That way, the program will count from one to nine as an output.

I had done that, but not in the version that I had loaded on here. After adding the variable into the print statement, I receive the following error: (note: change above System.out.println(); to System.out.println(numberWord); )

Error: Could not find or load main class Messy

Process finished with exit code 1
