PHP PHP Arrays and Control Structures PHP Arrays Modifying Arrays

unset($Array[1]);

The question on this answer was to remove item 1...

I did do that, but it tells me that I only emptyed the slot....

$colors = array("Red","Green","Blue");
unset($colors[1]);
var_dump($colors);
?>

Your problem is you're missing the earlier steps, if you had the earlier steps the array would look like this:

<?php
Array ( [0] => Yellow [1] => Magenta [2] => Green [3] => Cyan [4] => Black ) 

In which case you'd need to remove 3, instead of 1.
