Android Build a Simple Android App with Kotlin Testing and Debugging Using the Debugger

Unresolved reference: relativeLayout

I was learning how to debug the code with Android Studio and suddenly, an error occured. It was saying that it could not resolve the reference relativeLayout in this line of code:

relativeLayout = findViewById(R.id.relativeLayout)

The problem is that I wrote the code exactely as was shown in the video, so I really don't know what's happening. Can anybody please help me with this problem?
