unable to upLoad files to image folder in dark area of WorkSpaces

I successfully downloaded files to img.zip . When I attempt to drag files to the dark area of workspaces, the files will not drop. I went to the edit menu and selected all files and with no avail not successful to drop files into the open responsive area that notifies you to drop files. please help, thanks

I kinda remember myself having this problem, but I'm not really sure to be 100% on this advice. I had to upzip/extract the files.
