Hi,
I purchased hosting using Godaddy.com and a domain using namecheap. I downloaded cyberduck to get my files to godaddy but I am unable to open a connection in cyberduck. I am using SFTP and I know the server, username, password, and port number are all correct but I am still getting a connection failed error. someone help!

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 22,566 PointsI'm having the same problem. Have checked all other questions for possible solutions as well as trying a different FTP client, no success. Some people have apparently resolved their issues by doing a DNS flush. I didn't, but you could give it a try.
On windows (not sure about mac) open command prompt, input: ipconfig /flushdns

Courses Plus Student 1,351 PointsHi Whitney,
Thanks for your response. So, even though cyberduck said that a connection would not open, my files were still uploaded properly to my godaddy account so all is good. Strange I know. But thank you!
