4,264 PointsUnable to notice the difference in padding 5% in #gallery li a p.
text also won't center

Experimentation with color and texture

gallery li a p {
margin: 0;
padding: 5%;
font-size: 0.75em;
color: #000;
}
Why doesn't my padding do anything? Also, there's no space between the start of my
text and the left border of my li background

margin: 0;
padding: 5%;
font-size: 0.75em;
color: #000;
}
