trying to print firstName in console.printf

how to print firstName using console. printf

// I have imported java.io.Console for you.  It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine("What is your name?");
String lastName = console.readLine("What is your name?");
console.printf("%s",Firstname);

Try firstName instead of Firstname. Please let me know if that fixes it.

There are two problems.

1, You didn't use the correct variable name. If you look at 2 rows above, you can see that it is firstName, not Firstname. Variable names are case sensitive - small and large letters are important.

2, The result of the printf should be "First name: John", for example. Not just the first name by itself. The weird %s is the placeholder for the name, but before that, something is missing :D
