114 PointsTrying to move a robot around
I am struggling to figure out how to reset the location of a "machine" with a subclass called "robot".
I inserted comments where I am getting the current error. I am having trouble figuring out how I can insert (the x co-ordinate, the y co-ordinate + 1).
Any ideas? Thanks!
class Point {
var x: Int
var y: Int
init(x: Int, y: Int) {
self.x = x
self.y = y
}
}
class Machine {
var location: Point
init() {
self.location = Point(x: 0, y: 0)
}
func move(_ direction: String) {
print("Do nothing! Im a machine!")
}
}
// Enter your code below
class Robot: Machine {
func movenow(_ direction: String) {
let input = readLine()
//Looking FOR HELP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if input == "Up"{
self.location = Point(x: 0, y: y += 1)
//HERE^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
}
}
}

114 PointsIt gave some compile errors about spaces needed for "newLocation:Int" as such. I put the spaces where it made sense that they should go and then re-ran the code with still having syntax errors, mostly about ","s.

114 PointsI did that and know I have an " Bummer! For the Up direction make sure the location's y property increases by 1" error... Not sure if its the course or the code
