Hi Solomon, you have not provided the opening quotes in second and third image source i.e. just after a href. Here is the correct code you can compare with. Hope this helps! Happy Learning.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>
      <ul>
        <li>
        <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
        <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
                                      </li>
        <li>
        <a href="img/number-06.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
      </ul>
    </section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

Hi Solomon, I see that it was not mentioned to keep any anchor tag. So, you should just remove that a href in 3 image lines. Replace this in the section!

<section>
      <ul>
        <li>
        <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
        <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
        <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
      </ul>

Hi Solomon,

You have some typos in your HTML code

Change this:

<ul>
        <li>
        <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"alt="">
                                      </li>
        <li>
        <a href=img/numbers-02.jpg"alt="">
                                      </li>
        <li>
        <a href=img/number-06.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
      </ul>

To this:

<ul>
  <li><a href="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li>
  <li><a href="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li>
  <li><a href="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li>
</ul>

Hope it helps!

None of this helped. I am still getting that it is wrong and the:
X Bummer! make sure you include and image tag that displays "numbers-01.jpg"

This is what I have done:

<ul> <li><a href="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""></li> <li><a href="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""></li> <li><a href="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""></li> </ul>
