I know what a float is, just can't figure it out

    return float(num1 + num2)

Hey Lukas,

You're close, but each variable needs to be converted separately. There are a couple of ways of doing this. You could make a new variable and assign it the converted original variable, but the best way (The DRY way) would be to do it all in the return statement.

def add(num1, num2):
  return float(num1) + float(num2)
