Troubles with my for loop.

I am having troubles creating this for loop to print each thing in items, but if the thing is 'STOP' then it will break the loop.

breaks.py 
def loopy(items):
    for thing in items:
        print(thing)
    if thing == 'STOP':
        break

:point_right: The challenge expects you to stop instead of printing when the item is "STOP" (not after you print it).

Thank you for your reply. I put the if thing == 'STOP': break above the print and added an else: print(thing) after it properly indented and it still didn't accept it.

I figured it out thank you. I REALLY need to work on my sintax. I had the right idea, but couldn't execute it correctly. Thank you for your help!
