509 PointsTrouble with string length challenge
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The problem is to create a function that takes a single argument, a string. Then I'm supposed to print whether it's shorter or longer than 5 characters, otherwise return True.
def just_right(str):
if len(str)<5:
print("Your string is too short.")
elif len(str)>5:
print("Your string is too long.")
else:
return True

509 PointsThanks james south! That worked. I replaced the "print" with "return," removed the parentheses, and was able to finish the challenge.
