It used to be so if you comment on/answer a question, you automatically "follow" the discussion. It seems that now you have to manually follow the discussion to receive notifications. It is a little bit annoying
Just a thought.

24,090 PointsThere's so many bad UI things lately... Just send your comments to support and hopefully they'll fix.
Couple of my pet hates:
- Not being able to go straight to questions related to a specific task from the task itself, having to use the search feature instead which is pretty dreadful
- Not being able to scroll the code window in tasks so having to keep scrolling up to the top of the page to check the question and then back down again to the my code!

My answers / comments still trigger the "follow discussion." I'm not sure as to why yours wouldn't. Maybe shoot off an email to the support guys and see what's up. As far as I know that's not something that has changed.
Added after posting: When I first came to this post the box read "Follow Discussion." I added the comment and once I clicked post, the screen refreshed and the box now read "Unfollow Discussion."
