CSS CSS Transitions and Transforms Getting Started with CSS Transitions Creating Your First Transition with transition-duration

transition-duration?

Does it make a difference if the transition-duration is located in the .button element or .button: hover element?

If it's on the button, the setting will be in effect when you hover over and again when the mouse goes out. If the setting is on the hover, it will only affect the hover (not going out).

You can also use both to have a different time for in (hover) and out (button).
