3,853 PointsTranscript for the "Initializers and self" video in the Object-Oriented Swift 3 course?
Does anyone know where to find a transcript for the "Initializers and self" video in the Object-Oriented Swift 3 course?
Bradley Allen
5,224 PointsNote that at 2:47 in the transcript is says: "a member y's initializer as it is specifically called, write that down." which is incorrect and confusing because there actually is a "y" method in the code. It should say: "a memberwise initializer" which is a term that is important.
You can find the reference in the Swift language guide by search for "memberwise" here: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/Swift/Conceptual/Swift_Programming_Language/Initialization.html

5,013 PointsI'm not sure they wrote it up yet for this course. You may benefit by checking out the Transcripts for the Object-Oriented Swift 2 course as they are very similar.
