Track Distinguish!

Hello there!

Could somebody advise me what is the main difference between the [Front End Web Development] track and the [Web Design] track?11

I'm a beginner in web design/development and not sure which track should I start with as some of the courses are common in both tracks!!

Currently, I'm following the Wen Design track. Should I stay/switch?

I greatly appreciate your help, and this would save me much time.

The Web Design track focus more on css and design and don't have any JavaScript.

Should I stay/switch?: This really depends on what your end-goal is. Do you want to be a designer or a developer?

Actually, I joined Treehouse with an idea in mind, and I need to acquire some design/development skill sets to make that idea alive. What I need to do requires some of both design and development abilities, and more toward back end field.

Then I would suggest maybe just keep working through the design track and when finished then go for either the front-end track or maybe the full-stack javascript - those tracks might be the best to follow once done with the design track since javascript is an important language if working on the web :-)

For back-end I guess you can just pick whatever you prefer :-)
