I have the code as this:
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM orders WHERE ordered_on = DATE("now") AND status = 'shipped' AS shipped_today;
However, it's telling me I'm wrong. What am I doing wrong?

Beginner's peril here, heh-heh.
SELECT COUNT(*) AS shipped_today FROM orders WHERE status = "shipped" AND ordered_on = DATE("now");
