It looks the error comes from giphy as they receive too many request using the API key given from treehouse in the url.
Solution: 1) go to giphy and get yourself a free account 2) replace the key from the treehouse tutorial url with the API key assigned to you from giphy, you would have it once you create a project with your giphy account
