1,657 PointsThis is really irritating. "Oops! It looks like Task 2 is no longer passing."
I really don't get why so little information is given about what is causing the code to malfunction. It feels like a guessing game at times. Same goes with the quizzes, why is it we have to redo the entire quiz just for getting one wrong question?

Treehouse TeacherHi there! The reason it says that the code is no longer passing the second step is simply because it isn't. You've changed part of the code that you had in step 2. For instance, the code in step 2 for the Portfolio list item was:
<li>Portfolio</li>
This will write "Portfolio" on the screen as a list item. You've changed it to:
<li><a href="index.html"> Portfolio.html</a> </li>
This will write out "Portfolio.html" instead of "Portfolio" and have a link to "index.html". In this example, the code for this list item at step 3 should be this:
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
This will still print out "Portfolio" with a link to "index.html". The About and Contact section will each need to have different links to different files as indicated per the challenge instructions. I feel confident that you can complete step 3 with these hints, but let me know if you're still stuck!
edited for additional note
As for the quizzes, I'm fairly sure that the pass/fail is determined by percentage. If you have a quiz with 2 questions, you may not miss one as the success rate of your answers would be 50% which doesn't result in a passing grade. There are longer quizzes on TTH where you can miss an answer and still pass because the percentage correct meets their criteria to pass.
