Hi. A new client of mine has been using Thesis, I normally design all my wordpress sites from bootstrap and incorporate them myself into Wordpress. What are the advantages in Thesis, and how does it compare to Genisis?

From what I'm aware they're both really just theme frameworks (framework being used loosely here). Thesis is a bit more expensive depending on the package you select. I also find it's interface to feel a little elementary. Genesis has a pretty large developer community out there so you'll find a lot more people able to help you through things if you get stuck. There's nothing wrong with just rolling your own every time but where most of these "frameworks" come in, you and your clients can benefit from a lot of the admin features and customization panels.
