Hi,
I don't know if this is wrong or not. But right after the introduction, There's a code challenge which i don't know what's that about.
Any mistake happened on this ?
Thanks, Jey.
import android.app.Activity;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;
public class MainActivity extends Activity {
protected Button mExterminateButton;
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
// Declare our view variables
}
}

I don't think it is a mistake. I think it is to make sure that you know how to initialize variables which were taught in the previous android class ("Build a Simple Android App").
What you have to do is to add this line: Button mExterminateButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.button1);
This initializes the Button (mExterminateButton) using the findViewById method.
Hope this helps :)
