JavaScript JavaScript Loops Working with 'for' Loops Refactor Code with a Loop

There was an error with your code: ReferenceError: Strict mode forbids implicit creation of global property 'i'

Hi,

Any idea of that freaky error message?

script.js
for (i = 2; i <= 24; i+=2) {

  console.log(i);
}

Hi Jc. The error message is being caused because you are not using a variable declaration for i. If you use var or let, it will work properly:

for (let i = 2; i < 24; i+=2) {
  console.log(i);
}

of course! how silly of me! looks like my brain is melting. thks
