CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Pixels and Percentages

there must be an error. i did the right thing, .main-content { width: 75% }

lets reduce the width of the main-content div. Give it a width value that takes up 75% of its container width.

While it's technically optional for the last property in a rule, it's considered "best practice" to always end a property setting with a semicolon.

Apparently, the challenge didn't enforce this on the first two tasks, but you need to pass task 3.

As I said, it's not technically necessary for the CSS to work, but it is considered a "best practice".
And apparently it is necessary to pass the challenge. :wink:
