32,954 PointsThere is an easier way to import mipmap images!
Instead of manually adding each of the different sized mipmap icons, you can simply:
- right click 'mipmap' in the project directory
- select 'new' > 'Image Asset'
- Of the 'Asset Type:' radio buttons, choose 'Image'
- navigate to wherever you unzipped or have an icon you wish to use.
- choose ok and next accordingly, this should automatically load all the different sizes.
Note: it is better to choose a larger icon, (xxxhdpi, xxhdpi, xhdpi). These will look cleaner when scaled down for you. Smaller icons, hdpi, mdpi, will not look as sharp when scaled up.
