1,081 PointsThe quiz says I should not be modifying the output, but the question specifically asks me to. What am i doing wrong?
The output of my code shows the exact same output as the sample code that I was to replace. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
The sample code
echo"<li>Alena Holligan : alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com/n"; echo"<li>Dave McFarlad: dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com/n"; echo"<li>Treasure Porth : treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com/n"; echo"<li>Alena Holligan : alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com/n";
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts = array(
array(
'name' => 'Alena Holligan',
'email' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com'),
array(
'name' => 'Dave McFarland',
'email' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com'),
array(
'name' => 'Treasure Porth',
'email' => 'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com'),
array(
'name' => 'Andrew Chalkley',
'email' => 'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com')
);
echo "<ul>\n";
//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo "<li>" . $contacts[0]['name'] . " : " . $contacts[0]['email'];
echo "<li>" . $contacts[1]['name'] . " : " . $contacts[1]['email'];
echo "<li>" . $contacts[2]['name'] . " : " . $contacts[2]['email'];
echo "<li>" . $contacts[3]['name'] . " : " . $contacts[3]['email'];
echo "</ul>\n";

Courses Plus Student 94,610 PointsHi Zachary,
The original output had a closing li tag and a \n
after the email address.
echo "<li>Alena Holligan : alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com</li>\n";
You're missing that from your code.

1,081 PointsThanks for the help. I assumed since the output was the same those were unnecessary. Thanks!
