The Pathfinder option, Minus Back, subtracts the objects in_____ from the frontmost object

The 'Minus Back' option does exactly what is says. So, it subtracts the object in "the back"/ "back" from the frontmost object. With other words, it leaves the frontmost part and excludes the back and any overlapping parts.
