I have went over the code in the css file and there are no mistakes that I can see, I am thinking that my error is in the index file.

4,410 PointsThanks Justin I for your reply. After and hour of going over the code, i figured it out. I failed to ad an "id" in my index file that I eventually found. It works now. Again, thanks for the reply I appreciate it.
