4,874 PointsThe game builds and works - except all the text has been replaced with pink blocks!
I built my game for OS X, and after it builds it runs beautifully.
Just one thing - instead of the white Varela text I see in Unity, in my built game it shows pink blocks for every character! Changing it to the built-in Arial doesn't have an effect.

Best of luck squashing this bug. I'd love to know how you fixed it once you do.
Happy coding! :)

6,249 PointsHi, Melanie!
1) When you play the game do the 'pink blocks' disappear?
2) Have you tried replacing the font file (..\Assets\Fonts\VarelaRound-Regular.ttf) in the with a fresh copy and then re-linking?
3) Don't forget you can download the completed project to test it on this page under "teachers notes": https://teamtreehouse.com/library/unity-basics/the-3d-views/overview-of-the-unity-interface Here is a direct link to the files: https://treehouse-code-samples.s3.amazonaws.com/game-development/unity-basics/frogsnlogs-complete.zip

4,874 PointsThank you, Manuel!
1) You know, now that you mention it - the pink blocks don't go away after starting the game, even though the white text does disappear when playing it Unity's Game view. Interesting!
2) I switched to the built-in version of Arial, but I'll try explicitly replacing Varela with a known-good version.
3) I totally forgot to check for a completed version - thank you! I think my best bet is to go line-by-line and compare my work to the teacher's example.
