I don't know what I'm supposed to do here. I tried all kinds of code but it's always wrong.

42,016 Pointsan html doctype looks something like this:
<!DOCTYPE html>
this basically tells the browser what version of html you are using. there are many different doctypes. The code above is the doctype for HTML5. also note that you do not need a closing tag for the doctype
