The compiler did not create a Program.exe file

When I entered mcs Program.cs at the command line, the compiler did not create a Program.exe file. When I entered ls at the command line, I see 'Fitness Frog Program.cs'. How do I correct this issue?

Does the left panel of the workspace also show all of that as the program name? If so, right-click on it and rename it to just "Program.cs".

If that's not it, you could facilitate a more thorough analysis if you make a snapshot of your workspace and post the link to it here.
