Courses Plus Student 2,435 PointsThe color of the footer does not change.
This is what I have entered: <style> footer { color: green; } </style>

Courses Plus Student 2,768 PointsI see so, the problem is that you need to say on the css that the text is inside the "p element tag"
so this is how you do it in css.
footer p {
color: green;
}
so this say that the color should be applied to the paragraph tag that is inside the footer tag.
if still not working it's probably because you don't have the
the title and everything linking css, javascript... needs to be inside the
<head></head>```
``` html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<head>
<title>Troy Hilse | Designer</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
<style>
footer {
color: green;
}
</style>
</head>
Courses Plus Student 2,768 PointsHello Troy Hilse.
So the color property changes the font color to green. if you would like to change the background color, you need to use the
footer {
background-color: green;
}
Courses Plus Student 2,435 PointsThanks Fredrico, but its just not working for me. I even cleared cache.
I'm just following along with the instructor. The example is simply to change the color of the font in the footer. Simple. But the example doesn't work for me. This is the entire index.html file. What am I doing wrong?
Sorry for the length. I wish this comment section would allow the user to highlight the portions of text.
