The challenge is asking for CSS styling to be placed on the gallery list items (#gallery li) as well as the div (#gallery), in your example you have left out the gallery list items:

Hi Bei,

Select the element with the ID gallery. Then, remove the margin, padding, and bullet points.

The challenge asks you to remove the properties mentioned above, but you added some arbitrary values that were not asked for. That is why you are getting the following error:

Bummer! Did you set the margin for #gallery to zero?

The error is asking if you set the margin to zero, not telling you that it is currently set to zero (which it is not).

To remove margin and padding from an element you need to set their values to zero.
