" rule, you can added the color properties to that same rule also:

margin: 2.5%;
width: 45%;
float: left;
padding: 0;
list-style: none;
color: #7D26CD; /* this is the property that sets the text color */
background-color: #2E0854; /* just "background" also works */
}
There is no CSS property named "text-color".
