Templates to work from

Hey ,

So I know the basics to HTML and CSS, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good websites that provide templates to work from. For example, a login form with different designs to work from, or buttons..ect.

Many Thank Yousef

Hi Youseef,

There tons of sites that give web design freebies to play with, i've listed my favorite ones:

  • tympanus.net/codrops/ - the blueprint area is awesome.
  • pixelbuddha.net
  • graphicburger.com
  • creativemarket.com - Store, but every has 3 freebies per week.

Perfect Thank you!

Hi Youseef,

If I understand your question correctly you can also look into Bootstrap or Foundation by Zurb. These allow you to quickly prototype a website and add in pre-set buttons, forms, panels, grids and lots of different framework. You can then break into the html and css to customise.... There are courses on both from Treehouse and I would recommend you looking at them...

Hope that helps,

Darren.

Thank You Darren. bootstrap looks interesting, I'll definitely be looking into it further

Thank you Joel! Yea i agree, The blueprints for tympanum.net/corops/ is great!

I second codepen.io, it has similar functionality to the workspaces on Treehouse. Gethub also has a ton of stuff to look at.
