2,393 PointsTells me task one no longer passes?
When I put in the code, it says task number one no longer passes. Then I click "go to task one" hit "check work" and it passes. What am I doing wrong? Cant seem to get past this and getting frustrated.
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
private int lapsDriven;
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
public void drive() {
lapsDriven++;
}
}
}

Courses Plus Student 94,610 PointsHi Evan,
It looks like you wrote your drive
method inside of the isFullyCharged
method.
See the comment here,
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
public void drive() {
lapsDriven++;
}
} // move this curly brace above the drive method
}
