teamtreehouse is a sub-level domain and .com is a top-level domain, but I am having trouble defining http.

I know that http is hypertext transfer protocol but I do not know what TYPE of domain it is. Thank you for the help!

Hiya Daniel,

HTTP is just a protocol that defines how data is transferred between a server and client system. It is not a type of domain itself but rather a specification as to how information is handled from a domain.
