Tax procedures etc...

Hi All,

Just posting this up to see if the teachers here on Team Tree House would consider doing some courses on Tax procedures and company registrations etc involved around UK Law and whatever jurisdiction other learners require to go freelance.

Just want to know clearly what you have to do to make sure you are following the law to the book. So much information out there and its easy to get it wrong! Good to get the down low from wise heads!

Hi Phil,

I'm not a Treehouse teacher but I'm doubt that they'll ever offer something of the sorts. Each country has its own unique laws and procedures. Not only that, these tend to change every year. Keeping a course like this up-to-date and relevant would require a lot of time, effort and research. Also doing it only for the UK would be kinda unfair to the rest of the world.

Perhaps there's something like a 'Chamber of Commerce' in the UK? A place where companies are officially registered and their data is connect to a tax number? Usually places like these offer seminars and workshops in how to do things for those who do not know how to do it. More importantly, they are always up-to-date.
