As I try and do these tasks correctly, I notice that I spend considerable time trying to do what the directions say, but find out that what they mean are completely different. I thought that select meant, select. But in the directions it means to create. Is this part of learning code language?

.primary <-- that's the selector
#secondary <-- that's another selector
There are some phrases that you will take some time to grasp and remember. Just like learning any language, over time you get better at it.
