I was just wondering is it possible to use a google nexus for Adobe Illustrator rather than a wacom has anyone been successful or is it simply just not made for Ai ?

12,466 PointsDrawing tablets are completely different from computer tablets, so I don't see how that could work. If you're looking to get a Wacom though, the previous models (Intuos 5) are still awesome and go for relatively cheap on eBay. I got one refurbished and it was basically new for $150.
