Tab Indent Spaces being weird

Hi, not strictly a coding question but whenever I'm on my workspace following along with a video and hit tab to indent the new line, my tab space always goes to approximately half way along the page. This happens regardless of whether I have Tab Size 2 or Spaces 2.

Am I doing something wrong with the workspace? Currently I'm downloading and following along in vs, but it's getting kind of annoying.

Thanks for your help!

That is weird indeed. So what happens if you change the offset to another value, say 4?

the spaces change accordingly when I change it. On my workspace for this video, on some lines it indents correctly, and then on others the spacing is random e.g. line 29, line 41.

Totally bizarre. You might try running that by the Support folks. Do post back here if you figure it out!
