Systematic way to learn Human-Computer Interaction?

Which buttons to go where? What functions on which pages? When i look at my favorite software and websites, i am always impressed by how smoothly i get things done, the better ones even let me do it in style with expressive transitions and effects. I am not a strong coder or graphic designer so i figured if learn to be a good interaction planner i can give my project an edge that doesn't require pro-level coding or graphics. :P

How should i plan to systematically build up my UX skills?

Read a few good books on the topic, if you are really interested maybe go to grad school in HCI or Interaction Design.

I would recommend our UX Foundations Course! :)

Thanks guys. Going to go through the Aesthetic Foundations course first, the description looks relevant too. Give the UX Foundations time to finish development. Cheers! :)
