7,864 Pointssyntax error trying to create new database
I got up to the db.post.insert({title: "hooray!"}) part, but when i press enter I get a message saying: [thread1] SyntaxError: illegal character @(shell):1:16
Not sure if it helps, but when I first started up mongo, I got these dodgy looking messages (among others) that I don't understand:
Detected unclean shutdown - C:\data\db\mongod.lock is not empty. Recovering data from the last clean checkpoint. Unclean full-time diagnostic data capture shutdown detected, found interim file, some metrics may have been lost. OK
