Could you please elaborate the example of synchronous callbacks?

I will do my best to answer from my understanding of this topic. There isn't such a thing as a Synchronous callback because a callback is an action performed at some point future. Callbacks are Asynchronous.
A callback is listed as a functions parameter and it doesn't get executed until the future when it gets called in the body of the function. It can be one, two, or a hundred lines of code, but it's at some point in the future making it Asynchronous.
I hope this helps.
