Good morning, what would be the recommended or suggested study time outside of treehouse tutorials? I study at least 1-3 hours a day, does anyone have a set regimen or plan when studying coding?

44,957 PointsIf you're just starting out, I would recommend that you don't "study" at all. Programming is not Computer Science; programming is a technical skill, like tying your shoelaces. The second you understand the point of the endeavor and perceive a general direction to start in, just start — build something, anything. When you inevitably get stuck on some problem, break the problem down into pieces that you can understand, solve those pieces and integrate the solution back into your original problem. Rinse and repeat and one day you'll wake up and realize you are a Programmer, as evidenced by the fact that you have programmed stuff ;)
