14,785 PointsSuddenly I can't open html files in anything but safari
My desktop has suddenly adopted the odd behavior of only opening html files in Safari, regardless of whatever my default brower is set to. I prefer Chrome, and it is currently the default browser. But when I click on "open in browser" in my text editor (currently using SublimeText3), the files always open in Safari. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Sublime, tried using a different text editor (VSCode), no luck so far.
A penny for your thoughts....

47,353 PointsI would just google the error you're experiencing. You're bound to find dozens of results of people experiencing and resolving similar issues. Typically, most operating system setting errors can be found and resolved through Google. The trick is to word it right. Maybe try "Chrome not opening html file on macbook"
